Summer above the Arctic Circle is just as extreme as the winter: The Sun never sets, tiny little tundra plants are blooming in a hurry and migratory birds are busy doing their mating dances. Join us for a peaceful walk to see and feel the nature in the Pallas-Ylläs National Park. We hike through forest and ascent on top of a fell to see the magnificent view. Breath in the cleanest air in the world. Enjoy the silence that is rare to find nowadays. We have a break for light lunch and drinks before heading back.
In the Summer this tour can be done in the middle of the night, as the sun is shining around the clock. In the Autumn one gets to experience the spectacular “ruska”, the vivid colours of nature. During the day we will walk 4-10 kilometers, depending on the group.
Pihka Outdoors provides transportation from Kittilä or Kolari area, guiding and snacks and drinks.
