Pick the Wild Food of Lapland

Pick the Wild Food of Lapland

Finnish forests are full of delicacies that are rare elsewhere. Our nature is so pure, it is safe to pick all the yummy berries: blueberries, cranberries, lingonberries and the nordic gold – cloudberries. The berries ripen over the summer, the best time for picking is in late July, August, even September. In the Autumn, mushrooms arise – another heaven for a wild roamer! During the day we forage the forests and enjoy drinks and snacks. Also, we teach you to make a salad out of wild plants, picked during the day. All wild food in Lapland are growing free and organic in the cleanest air of the world. You are privileged to come and taste – forest is our restaurant.

Pick up from accommodation in Kolari/Kittilä area and drop off to the same place. We will wander in the forests of Ylläs area and nearby. During the day we will walk 1km-4km.
